Why is my shipping $8?
Unless you are selecting priority shipping, this should NOT be happening to you and shipping should cost roughly $5. If this is happening please contact us via the contact us page.
Can I switch out the metal on my piece?
This depends on the item in question. For resin pieces, no. For clay pieces, typically yes! You can switch from gold to silver and vice versa. If you have extremely sensitive ears we also offer a plastic French hook option. Please see the individual item description on whether the metal can be changed or not.
I see you offer custom rings, do you also offer other types of custom jewelry?

Are By Hand & By Heart pieces hypoallergenic?
- Yes! By Hand & By Heart pieces are lead and nickel free and of hypoallergenic materials. Each item describes the type of metal is used but please feel free to reach out to us should you need further information.
Are By Hand & By Heart pieces lightweight?
- They are! All polymer clay By Hand & By Heart weigh less than a quarter, or .2 oz! By Hand & By Heart are hypoallergenic, comfortable and lightweight, ensuring no irritation to your skin!
